Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine Boost FAQ

What is the Rite of the Nine event?

The Rite of the Nine is a new Destiny 2 time-limited event that was released with Heresy Act III. Every week, players can complete three dungeons and get Rite of the Nine weapons, armor and exclusive rewards. Players can choose the dungeon from the monument close to the social space. You will need to choose the desired dungeon and difficulty. In this activity, you will play at a higher difficulty level. Select between the Eternity mode or the Ultimatum mode. The higher scores lead to getting better rewards and Adept weapon drops. The Rite of the Nine is a free game activity, and you don’t need to farm keys to go into the Explore mode.

What rewards can I get from the Rite of the Nine event?

Players can get lots of weapons and armor parts from the chosen dungeon. You will unlock reprised weapons with new exclusive perks, a new origin trait, Gravity Well, a new memento, Adept weapons, an attunement system and other valuable loot. For the weapons, players can unlock the new modifiers like Notswap, which drains all ability energy when you swap the weapons.

What will the Gravity Well Origin Trait do?

The Gravity Well automatically collect the nearby ammo when you reload the weapon. You can get weapon rewards with this Origin Trait during the Rite of the Nine event.

What are the difficulties for Rite of the Nine?

Rite of the Nine has three difficulties: Explorer (learning-focused), Eternity (standard), and Ultimatum (hardest, Contest-style; enables Adept/Holofoil weapon drops and better rewards).
