Getting the Chittering Animite mount can be tricky, as it is a reward from a specific mission in your Shadowlands command table. Here’s a comprehensive guide to help you obtain this unique devourer mount:

To start the journey towards obtaining the Chittering Animite mount, the first step is to unlock your Tactical Insight. This can be done by spending 500 Reservoir Anima and 1 Redeemed Soul inside your covenant anima conductor.
Once you have unlocked your Tactical Insight, you can begin accumulating Adventure Campaign Progress, which is needed to trigger the Campaign: The Final Puzzle. It is recommended to complete several campaigns before tackling the mount missions.
The recommended covenant to hunt the mission is either Necrolords or Night Fae.
Complete both basic XP missions and the missions that provide Adventure Campaign Progress currency to balance your progress. Completing the Adventure campaign missions will provide you with missions that require higher-level followers but also provide greater rewards. The rewards include Gear – Pets – Rep tokens – Mounts.
To start procuring the mount missions, your Adventure campaign progress has to be on 17. The level 17 mission will provide you the first mount, level 18 the second, level 19 the third, and level 20 the final mount, ending the Command table progress.

Notes:

There’s no guarantee that the mount mission will always appear, so keep running the highest-level missions until it finally appears.

You don’t need to upgrade your command table to level 2 or 3 to have a chance for this mission, but having a higher level of followers is recommended to increase your chances of success.

Players using the Venture plan addon can see their campaign progress on the addon’s UI, but players who don’t use this can see the campaign progress by typing the command –> /script print(C_CurrencyInfo.GetCurrencyInfo(1889).quantity)

Other mounts available through Tactical Insight are Darkwarren-hardshell, Warstitched-darkhound and Highwind-darkmane.
