Your first clear grants a Deepsight (craftable) Wish-Keeper, while repeat completions can provide more weapons, armor pieces, intrinsic upgrades, and catalyst progress for the bow.
What is Starcrossed in Destiny 2?
Starcrossed is an Exotic PvE mission set in the Black Garden that was introduced with Season of the Wish / Lightfall and now appears in the Exotic Mission Rotator. It mixes platforming and symbol puzzles with the dual-buff mechanic from blue and red wells and ends in a multi-phase boss fight against Akardon, Pitiless Mind, rewarding Wish-Keeper and seasonal loot on completion.
How to unlock Starcrossed mission in Destiny 2?
Originally, Starcrossed unlocked by progressing the Season of the Wish story questline until the Exotic quest node appeared, but today access is handled through the Exotic Mission Rotator. As long as you own Lightfall and meet the power requirement, you can launch Starcrossed from the Legends/rotator screen when it is the featured Exotic mission for the week.
How do you deactivate the barrier in Starcrossed?
To deactivate the barrier in Starcrossed, you first combine the blue Sire’s Obligation and red Dam’s Gift wells to gain the Crowned by Dragons buff, then hunt down the marked Taken enemies whose symbols match the lock sequence next to the barrier. Killing those Obdurate Phalanxes in the correct top-to-bottom symbol order breaks all the locks and opens the path forward.
How long does it take to complete Starcrossed?
With a practiced fireteam that already knows the route and mechanics, a Starcrossed clear usually takes around 20–30 minutes, while a first blind or solo run can easily stretch past 40 minutes depending on power level and deaths.
Is Starcrossed soloable in Destiny 2?
Yes, Starcrossed is fully soloable on Normal difficulty and can be soloed on Legendary by skilled players, but the dense add waves, symbol sequencing, and boss damage checks make it significantly more demanding than a standard story mission.
How often can you farm Starcrossed rewards?
When Starcrossed is active in the Exotic Mission Rotator you can run it as many times as you like, but the main Deepsight Exotic and high-end weekly rewards are limited per character and difficulty each reset, while extra weapons and armor can drop on every completion.
