Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a daily and/or weekly limit on how many reputation quests can I complete?

Yes, there are limits. You can complete up to 12 reputation quests daily. As for weekly limits, each tribe usually offers around 3 quests that reset every 2 days, amounting to approximately 10-12 quests per tribe per week.

It can be annoying and is one very specific way to stretch out game content, but there’s no denying that this helps keep the game balanced and ensures players are engaged but not overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content to complete.

What sorts of tasks are usually involved in reputation quests?

A whole bunch of different activities, really – pick whatever you feel better about and get grinding:

  • Combat Tasks:
    • Defeating Enemies: battling specific monsters or enemies;
    • Boss Fights: taking on stronger, often elite enemies;
    • Escort Missions: protecting NPCs from threats during their journey;
  • Crafting Tasks:
    • Creating Items: using crafting abilities to make required items;
    • Special Orders: crafting unique items or fulfilling special requests;
  • Gathering Tasks:
    • Resource Gathering: collecting specific materials or items;
    • Fishing: catching certain fish or aquatic creatures;
  • Exploration Tasks:
    • Scout Missions: exploring specific areas and sometimes mapping regions;
    • Gathering Information: collecting data or interacting with environmental objects;
  • Social/Interaction Tasks:
    • Helping NPCs: Performing tasks for NPCs, such as delivering items or providing assistance.
  • Building Relationships: Developing bonds with the tribe by participating in their daily life.

So there’s some neat variety, yes. That doesn’t mean you won’t get bored fairly quickly, though – which is why our FFXIV Allied Society Boost is still the most convenient way to quickly and painlessly elevate your reputation rank with any Tribe of your choice!

So are they Allied Societies, Tribes, or Factions?

That’s one really nice question. There’s some intricacy to the whole terminology thing, and we’re here to help you figure it out!

  • Allied Societies (previously known as Beast Tribes) are groups of non-playable races that players can ally with to complete daily quests and increase their reputation. This designation is especially used in the Dawntrail expansion;
  • Tribes is a broader term and can refer to any group or community within the game’s lore. However, it often specifically refers to Beast Tribes;
  • Factions though less frequently used, can reference any organized group with a shared allegiance or a common goal.

So while all three terms might come up in discussions, Allied Societies is the term you’ll see more in the latest game updates.
