Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder Carry Explained

The Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder is a unique mount that can be obtained through fishing and reputation grinding in Legion. Follow these steps to get your very own Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder:

  1. Farm Drowned Mana. To obtain Drowned Mana, you must go to Margoss’s Retreat, located in the Dalaran Sewers. Remember that this item can only be fished from the pool in Margoss’s Retreat. You can fish up Drowned Mana in this pool, and the item will be automatically added to your inventory. Fishing up Drowned Mana grants reputation with the Conjurer Margoss “friend” at 50 reputation per mana and another 250 reputation for the turn-in quest Drowned Mana.

  2. Reach Best Friend reputation. To purchase the mount from Conjurer Margoss, you must have Best Friend reputation status with him. Fishing up Drowned Mana is the only way to gain reputation with Conjurer Margoss. The reputation levels are as follows:

  1. Farm 935 Drowned Mana. To reach Best Friend status with Conjurer Margoss and purchase the mount, you will need 935 Drowned Mana. This is equivalent to 42,000 reputation points (50 reputation per mana). And 100 left for mount purchase. Turn in the Drowned Mana quest. Make sure to turn in the Drowned Mana quest to get the extra 250 reputation points for turn-in. 

  2. Be patient. Fishing up 935 Drowned Mana will take time, as will gaining the reputation required to purchase the mount. However, with persistence and dedication, you’ll eventually be able to buy the Brinedeep Bottom-Feeder mount from Conjurer Margoss, situated at the center of the pool.

Tips: 

Take advantage of reputation buffs, like  WHEE!/ Darkmoon Top Hat, while the Darkmoon Faire is active, or similar buffs.
