How does the Great Vault work?
In The War Within expansion, we got a re-envisioned version of the weekly cache item loots of Dragonflight and Shadowlands. To unlock reward options, you must complete several activities, including mythic keys, delves, and killing bosses in the current raid. Reward Ilvl directly depends on the content difficulty. You will receive the coolest rewards from the Great Vault if you complete activities with the highest difficulty. Suppose you first complete easier types of content. In that case, you can get a cooler set of rewards if you complete the same activities with higher difficulty, for example, killing bosses in heroic difficulty after normal.
Regardless of the number of item options unlocked, you can collect only one item. Completing a large number of criteria will only increase your choice after the weekly reset.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Mythic+ Dungeons?
Below, you can see information about Great Vault rewards for completing the Mythic+ Keystones:
- For completion of Mythic+0 dungeon, you will get 603 ilvl gear;
- For completion of Mythic+2 or Mythic+3 key, you will get 649 ilvl gear;
- For completion of Mythic+4 or Mythic+5 dungeon, you will get 652 ilvl gear;
- For completion of Mythic+6 dungeon, you will get 655 ilvl gear;
- For completion of Mythic+7, Mythic+8 or Mythic+9 key, you will get 658 ilvl gear;
- For completion of Mythic+10 key or hihger, you will get 662 ilvl gear.
You need to complete one keystone to unlock one item option, four keys to unlock two item options, and eight keystones to unlock three item options.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Raid?
Below, you can see information about Great Vault rewards for completing the Liberation of Undermine raid objectives:
- 617-633 item level for defeating raid bosses in LFR mode of Liberation of Undermine;
- 636-652 item level for defeating raid bosses in Normal mode of Liberation of Undermine;
- 649-665 item level for defeating raid bosses in Heroic mode of Liberation of Undermine;
- 662-678 item level for defeating raid bosses in Mythic mode of Liberation of Undermine.
You need to defeat two bosses to unlock one item option, four bosses to unlock two item options, and six bosses to unlock three item options.
What ilvl items can be obtained from the Great Vault for Delves?
Below, you can see information about Great Vault rewards for completing Delves:
- For completion of tier 1 or 2 delve, you will get 623 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 3 delve, you will get 626 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 4 delve, you will get 636 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 5 delve, you will get 642 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 6 delve, you will get 645 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 7 delve, you will get 648 ilvl gear;
- For completion of tier 8+ delve, you will get 655 ilvl gear.
You need to complete three delves to unlock one item option, six delves to unlock two item options, and twelve delves to unlock three item options.
What is the fate of weekly PvP rewards?
The War Within no longer rewards PvP objectives. Previously, you could complete a farming challenge for Honor Points, but Blizzard decided to keep the weekly rewards for PvE content only.
What should I do if my Great Vault rewards are duplicates?
If you think that none of the items will be helpful to you, you can choose the Algari Token of Merit. You can exchange tokens for gold, valorstones, or crests. Particular attention should be paid to the S.A.D.. with which you can make sockets in Helms, Bracers, or Belts.
