What are the necessary steps to complete Terminus Island Easter Egg?
If you still want to handle the entire thing by yourself, keep in mind that Terminus Island Easter Egg is quite time-consuming and involves multiple steps. Here’s the breakdown:
- Turn on the Power: activate three generators located in the Guard Station, Living Quarters, and Bio Lab;
- Raise the Inclined Lift: dive into the water and raise the lift to access the Pack-a-Punch machine;
- Get the Beamsmasher: obtain the DRI-11 Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon, either by finding it in the Mystery Box or crafting it;
- Obtain the Hard Drive: use the Beamsmasher on one of the tentacle traps to get the Hard Drive item;
- Place the Hard Drive: interact with a mailbox in the Guard Room to place the Hard Drive;
- Free Nathan: collect a three-digit code from various locations on the map to free Dr. Peck;
- Complete the Final Encounter: follow the remaining steps to unlock the final rewards.
Quite a list, huh? Maybe our Terminus Easter Egg boost wasn’t such a bad idea after all?
What’s the hardest part of completing Terminus Easter Egg?
That’s going to be finding the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon. If you don’t know the schematic and are going through the entire process for the first time, then expect some quality RNG bullshiteru and one lengthy hunt for all the necessary components:
- EMF Fob: found on a zombie in the Research Lab;
- Multiphasic Resonator: located in a briefcase in the Sea Tower;
- Blue Battery: found on a desk in Engineering;
- Craft the Beamsmasher: use the crafting bench in the secret lab to assemble the Beamsmasher.
Alternatively, you could use Mystery Boxes and try and get the Beamsmasher for 950 Essence. However, this way of obtaining that Wonder Weapon is highly random and might end up with you receiving some obscure item or weapon instead.
What’s involved in completing Terminus Island Side Quests?
These are mostly for giggles but will require some attention to detail and good map orientation. Here’s the list of all Side Quests available on Terminus Island and how to complete them:
- Basketball Trick Shot: head to the Engineering area near the Rec Yard, jump onto the boxes, and shoot the basketball on the roof into the basket for 2,000 points;
- Tower Intel: throw a grenade at the intel tower in the Security Overlook area to receive some intel;
- Ten Fish Intel: kill 10 fish in the seawater using a grenade or shock charge to get a piece of intel;
- Cooking a Fish: visit the Bio Lab, take a boat to look out into the water for a fish, and use a grenade to kill it. Collect ingredients like a battery, salt, a brain, a can, and oil to cook the fish in the Mess Hall;
- Jumpscare in the Elevator: enter the Maglev elevator, start jumping up and down, and encounter zombie faces and blood smeared all over the elevator;
- Free Perk Easter Egg: find treasure boxes scattered across the map near the Bio Lab or docks to get a random perk power-up;
- Kill Zombies in Cages: kill all the zombies inside the cages in the Bio Lab, then kill Vermins and Manglers in subsequent rounds.
