Aerial Unit R-21/X Boosting Explained

Aerial Unit R-21/X is a reward for completing the Operation: Mechagon dungeon in hard mode.

After successfully clearing all stages, you’ll find a panel with a red button in King Mechagon’s room. Pressing it will activate hard mode for the boss fight.

Hard mode introduces an extra challenge – the “Annihilo-tron 5000.” This unit cannot be attacked but will explode and wipe the group when its energy reaches zero. It starts losing 20 energy every 9 seconds. To prevent the wipe, you must restore its energy through four Input Panels located around the edges of the platform.

When the Annihilo-tron’s energy hits 35, all Input Panels will display colored shapes. The colors and shapes are irrelevant – only the sequence matters. Four players must memorize this sequence and, when the energy drops to 11, input it correctly at their respective panels within about 5 seconds. If done correctly, the Annihilo-tron’s energy will be restored to 100. You’ll need to repeat this process roughly every 45 seconds while still handling King Mechagon’s usual mechanics.

The mount can only drop for players who haven’t learned it yet. If some group members already own it, the system will roll the drop among the rest. This means that if four players already have the mount, it is guaranteed to drop to the fifth.
