Buy Destiny 2 Malfeasance Service and unlock one of the strongest 180 RPM Exotic Hand Cannons for Gambit and endgame PvE. Malfeasance fires tainted slugs that stack inside the target and detonate after five hits thanks to its Explosive Shadow perk, shredding chunky enemies, Gambit invaders, and even Unstoppable Champions with intrinsic anti-Champion synergy. Its Taken Predator trait adds bonus damage against Taken and invaders, while the Catalyst further powers it up with extra range and Vorpal Weapon, boosting damage against bosses and Supers.
This boost will be completed in Piloted mode.

Malfeasance is locked behind the “Darkness in the Light” exotic quest, which only starts after a special Gambit Primeval encounter and then sends you through several demanding steps. You must farm Gambit until the Seething Heart drops, kill Taken bosses in the Dreaming City, complete a unique version of The Corrupted strike, and then finish hard Gambit objectives like Business as Usual and Lights Out, which require mote banking, match wins, and high-pressure Guardian kills. Malfeasance is a Kinetic 180 RPM Exotic Hand Cannon introduced in Forsaken, designed primarily for Gambit and Taken-focused encounters. It features Explosive Shadow, which causes five stacked shots to detonate inside the target, and Taken Predator, which increases damage against Taken enemies and Gambit invaders.
To unlock Malfeasance you must complete the “Darkness in the Light” exotic quest, which begins when you obtain the Seething Heart item from a special Gambit Primeval and take it to the Drifter. The quest then leads through Dreaming City Taken boss kills, a unique Corrupted strike, Gambit mote and win requirements, and Lights Out invasion objectives before you claim the weapon.
Malfeasance is excellent in PvE, as Explosive Shadow delivers huge burst damage on stacked shots and synergizes well with high-health targets and Unstoppable Champions. Bonus damage against Taken and, with the Catalyst, access to Vorpal Weapon and extra range make it a reliable choice for Nightfalls, Gambit, and Taken-heavy content.
In PvP, Malfeasance is solid rather than meta-defining, offering consistent kill potential through its five-shot explosion mechanic and strong dueling in mid-range engagements. With the Catalyst adding Vorpal Weapon, it becomes particularly threatening to Guardians in their Super, making it a niche but potent pick in certain modes and loadouts.
The Malfeasance quest, “Darkness in the Light,” is obtained by playing Gambit until a special Primeval appears and defeating it to earn the Seething Heart quest item. Once you bring the Seething Heart to the Drifter in the Tower, he will start the questline that ultimately rewards Malfeasance.
