Glory of the Pandaria Hero Achievements

As we’ve said before, there is a whopping number of 28 dungeon achievements waiting to be earned, almost all requiring your group to complete a Heroic dungeon fight with a certain condition. A rocky ride, if you ask us. But not when the Epiccarry boosters are involved! Here’s what you might expect from this WoW MoP Glory of the Pandaria Hero Service.

Temple of the Jade Serpent

  • Hydrophobia — during the fight with Wise Mari, stay mobile and don’t stand in water pools to avoid being hit by her Corrupted Waters, Wash Away, or Hydrolance;
  • Cleaning Up — kill the Sha of Doubt boss very quickly to allow yourself to earn this achievement; it requires you to complete the fight in 5 minutes after killing Wise Mari while under the Purified Water buff; dispose of Lorewalker first;
  • Seeds of Doubt — kill the Sha of Doubt while under the effect of four Seeds of Doubt: simply click on four crystals during add phases to get the effects.

Stormstout Brewery

  • Keep Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’ — during the fight with Ook-Ook, hit the boss with 20 Rolling Brew Barrels before the kill;
  • Hopocalypse Now! — before the Hoptallus encounter, dispose of 100 Hoplings with a single hammer swing; the trick is simple: wait for many to spawn before hammering them down;
  • How Did He Get Up There? — for this achievement to pop up, you’ll have to stick to a fairly nauseating algorithm: first, loot Bog Ol’ Hammer from virmen (“rabbits”) before Hoptallus; second, above the arena with Ook-Ook, find a banner near a giant brewing tank with a hozen (“monkey”) clinging above it; third, group virmen near the banner (at least five small ones and one big one who’s about to explode) and smash them so they fly right into the air, earning you the achievement; see a short YouTube guide here;
  • Ling-Ting’s Herbal Journey — feel the spirit of Pandaria (pun intended) and find all 30 Golden Hoplings in the dungeon under the effect of Ling-Ting’s Favorite Tea cups!

Mogu’shan Palace

  • Glintrok N’ Roll — apply all of your DPS juices and defeat Gekkan within 5 minutes of being seen by the Glintrok Scout; straightforward yet tricky;
  • What Does This Button Do? — the final boss, Xin, uses quilen statues filled with weaponry to fight you, and each time a certain statue activates, a red gem spawns in its mouth; your task is to activate those gems in the right order to utilize the statues’ power against Xin;
  • Quarrelsome Quilen Quintet — collect five hidden Jade Quilen found across the dungeon!

Shado-Pan Monastery

  • Respect — after having defeated Shado-Pan Novices during the Master Snowdrift fight, /bow to them when they go friendly;
  • The Obvious Solution — in the Sealed Chambers, release all of the prisoners influenced by the Sha and kill them (in all three rooms), and only after that dispose of the Sha of Violence itself;
  • Hate Leads to Suffering — this risky achievement will force you to defeat Taran Zhu while every player in your group has a full 100% bar of the hatred debuff; don’t remove it before killing him.

Gate of the Setting Sun

  • Bomberman — the Saboteur Kip’tilak boss explodes bombs placed around the arena when his health drops to 70% and 40%. Place 15 bombs or more and let him trigger the explosions (15 bombs must be exploded within 15 seconds, and you don’t have to kill the boss for this achievement to pop up);
  • Conscriptinator — get three stacks of the Resin Residue buff by killing Mantid Conscripts and standing near their bodies until they explode and grant you this buff.

Scarlet Halls

  • Humane Society — no one wants to kill the dogs, so you’ll have to defeat Houndmaster Braun solely and avoid hitting his hounds; again, avoid AoE damage;
  • Mosh Pit — during the Armsmaster Harlan boss fight, get 8 or more people (players and adds) affected by his AoE fiery whirlwind called Blades of Light, then defeat him.

Scarlet Monastery

  • Burning Man — there are two sets of dummies on the boss arena, three on each side. Bring Brother Korloff to each of them and let him use his abilities to set all six dummies on fire, then kill him;
  • And Stay Dead! — let Whitemane resurrect her Justicars (13 or more), defeat them, and then her. Let her resurrect Durand first, and only after that must she cast Mass Resurrection.

Scholomance

  • Attention to Detail — defeat Jandice Barov without killing the wrong illusions and focusing on the right ones (she summons and hides behind them twice during the fight); the right ones have either a black headband, long over-the-shoulder black hair, a black chest piece, or black shoulder pieces;
  • Rattle No More — defeat Rattlegore without letting him stack 5 Rusting effects; to do that, let the stacks of Rusting wear off during the fight and use two players with taunt to bounce the boss off of each other with maximum possible range;
  • Sanguinarian — make a Krastinovian Carver (found in the Butcher’s Sanctum after Rattlegore) get 99 stacks of Boiling Bloodthirst, and then kill that Carver; the trick is, each Carver already has one stack of this buff, and when you kill a Carver, the buff jumps to neighboring Carvers; some simple math is required here, or you can let us do the job for you!
  • School’s Out Forever — during the Darkmaster Gandling fight, he will teleport each player to their punishment room while also spawning 10 Expired Test Subjects inside. Make him do that five times, then kite all 50 subjects and dispose of them within 20 seconds.

Siege of Niuzao Temple

  • Where’s My Air Support? — defeat Commander Vo’jak after having killed the Sik’thik Amberwing; engage it before the boss drops on the top side of the platform;
  • Run with the Wind — defeat Wing Leader Ner’onok while having the Tenwu’s Resolve buff (find Tenwu lying on the ground when the boss is channeling the Gusting Winds);
  • Return to Sender — when General Pa’valak protects himself with a shield, adds spawn, and bombs start dropping; pick them up and throw at the boss to stack 20 Detonate effects from the bombs, then kill him while he’s under the effect.

Miscellaneous

  • Pandaria Dungeon Hero — simply complete all Pandaria dungeons on Heroic difficulty; yes, this is a meta-achievement within a meta-achievement; you get no rewards for this particular achievement;
  • Polyformic Acid Science — if you’ve been around for some time, you probably are familiar with the disguise of a mad Undead scientist in green attire and chemical devices on his back. Get it in Scholomance and defeat six dungeon bosses across Pandaria in this guise.

Can Glory of the Pandaria Hero be earned in solo?

No matter how powerful your character is, there’s at least one achievement that requires a full five-player group to earn it (School’s Out Forever). Besides, other achievements are not a walk in the park for a solo either.

Do I need to complete all of the Pandaria dungeons to get the Glory of the Pandaria Hero achievement?

Yes, you have to complete all of the Pandaria dungeons on Heroic for the Glory of the Pandaria Hero meta-achievement. Besides, you’ll have to meet certain criteria during boss fights when fighting through these dungeons.
