How does the Proving Grounds leaderboard work?
After your first multiplayer match during the event, you’re assigned to a mini-leaderboard with up to 29 other players. Every point of match score you earn increases your event total, and the board updates as everyone keeps playing. When the event ends, the game checks your final placement and grants the corresponding tier rewards plus everything from lower tiers.
How do you complete the Proving Grounds Event?
You “complete” Proving Grounds by hitting all four score milestones (10k / 20k / 40k / 80k score) and securing the placement bracket you want before the event timer expires. That means playing a lot of multiplayer, prioritizing objective modes, and maintaining a steady flow of high-score games so other players on your board don’t overtake you.
Does XP or Double XP help in the Proving Grounds Event?
No, only in-match score counts toward the Proving Grounds leaderboard and score challenges. Double XP events and tokens still help your overall account and weapon leveling, but they do not multiply your event score at all.
