 How to get The Darkened Vombata mount

The Darkened Vombata is a unique mount that can be obtained through Protoform Synthesis, taught by the Schematic: Darkened Vombata. To obtain this schematic, you need to find the Protoform Schematic located in Arrangement Index. You can reach it by using Door of Shadows or Dimensional Translators, or by jumping from a high point with a Goblin Glider Kit.

Once you obtain the schematic, you’ll receive the quest Schematic Reassimilation: Darkened Vombata, which you must complete to be able to craft the mount.

To craft the Darkened Vombata mount, you’ll need the following materials:

• 450 Genesis Mote, which can drop from many mobs in Zereth Mortis.
• 1 Mawforged Bridle, which can be found as a guaranteed drop from the High Value Cache located inside the Sepulcher of the First Ones raid, just before the Artificer Xy’mox’s room. It is important to note that the High Value Cache has a weekly lockout and will not spawn on LFR difficulty.
• 1 Vombata Lattice, which can drop from any Vombata creature around Zereth Mortis.

Note: To access Schematic Quests and Servitor Interface, you need to obtain Sopranian Understanding from the Cypher Console to unlock The Final Song questline. The Final Song questline starts with the quest Finding Tahli. After completing The Final Song questline, wait for the daily reset and complete the following quests: The Lost Component, A New Architect, and Schematic Reassimilation: Deathrunner. This will grant you access to Protoform Synthesis.
