Arcana is the most unique trade skill in New World. It gives you the ability to craft various caster weapons, such as Fire and Light Staves, Ice Gauntlets, and brew Elixirs and Tinctures at the Arcane Repository which you can either use yourself or sell to other players on auction.

Arcana relies on Gathering skills for raw resources, most notably, Harvesting, Logging, and Mining. These resources have to be turned into usable crafting materials with Smelting, Wood working, or Weaving.
