The crafting process of the Darkmoon Card Trinkets is quite a lengthy one, involving a lot of gathering and grinding. First of all, you have to learn the Inscription profession, and not only that, but level it up all the way to the maximum 525 skill. Your Inscription trainer will then teach you the Darkmoon Card of Destruction recipe. It allows you to craft one of the thirty-two Darkmoon Cards available: eight Stone cards, eight Wave cards, eight Wind cards, and eight Ember cards. When you have eight of the same type on your hands, you can craft a corresponding Darkmoon Deck you can then trade for the trinket at the Darkmoon Faire. Here’s what it looks like:
- Once you have skill level 525 in Inscription and the Darkmoon Card of Destruction recipe learned, you have to use 10x Inferno Ink, 30x Volatile Life, and 1x Resilient Parchment to craft a random Cataclysm Darkmoon Deck card;
- Keep crafting until you’ve gathered eight cards of the same type, like these ones:
- You are sure to craft other types of cards along the way (like Two of Embers, Eight of the Winds, or Five of Stones) since the crafting result is random;
- Right-click on any card once you’ve got the full eight-card roster, and you’ll get a corresponding deck starting a quest:
- Wait until the Darkmoon Faire event is active (the Faire is open for a week each month) and find Professor Thaddeus Paleo to turn in your quest;
- Finally, you’ll receive a corresponding ilvl 359 epic Darkmoon Card trinket:
- Darkmoon Card: Hurricane (Agility) or Darkmoon Card: Hurricane (Strength) — these are two alternative versions of the same card you’ll be able to choose from;
