1. Locating the Crystals: The Ephemeral Crystals spawn randomly in 12 locations in Azsuna. Remember that the exact points where they spawn change with each occurrence. You’ll need to search diligently across the zone to find them.
2. Faster than Others: Once the Ephemeral Crystals spawn, it becomes a race against other players to click and interact with them before anyone else. Speed and agility are crucial in securing the mount. Be prepared to compete with other players who are also on the hunt.
3. Buffed by Crystal Dummy Aura: When you successfully click on an Ephemeral Crystal, you will receive the Crystal Dummy Aura buff. This buff signifies that you have found one crystal and is a marker of your progress.
4. Finding All 5 Crystals: After clicking on the first crystal, the race continues to find and interact with the remaining four crystals. You have a limited time frame of 8 hours to find all the crystals and complete the challenge. Remember, the first player to find all five crystals will obtain the mount.
5. Persistence and Respawn Timer: The Ephemeral Crystals have a respawn timer of approximately 3 hours. If you are unsuccessful in finding all five crystals within the given time frame or if you die during the process, you will need to start the search again from scratch.
6. Claiming the Mount: Once you have successfully clicked on the fifth and final Ephemeral Crystal, the Reins of the Long-Forgotten Hippogryph will be automatically added to your inventory, completing your quest for this unique mount.
