How It Works
Here’s how you can handle our WoW Cataclysm Classic Throne of the Four Winds Specific Item Boost in five steps:
- This page has an option select section where you can first choose your desired Throne of the Four Winds raid difficulty — Normal or Heroic raid difficulty.
Next is the list of all item slots available in the raid; you can check as many boxes next to them as you want. Why does Stormwake, the Tempest’s Reach (one-hand sword) have three versions of it?
Stormwake, the Tempest’s Reach dropped by Al’Akir is the only weapon in the whole raid, but it has three different versions (one, two, three) because each of those represents an item version tuned to a specific class category. This is very easy to overlook. One version increases your spell power and intellect (so that’s a variant for caster classes), the second boosts your strength, and the third — your agility. This means you not only need this sword per se, but you need the correct version of it to fit your class. Be sure to tell that to our manager if they don’t ask you about it themselves.
I see there are item slots that are not present in the Throne of the Four Winds loot tables at all. Does Essence of the Forlorn cover any of those?
You’re right: there are no Chest, Wrist, Hands, Feet, or Trinket items in the Throne of the Four Winds’ loot table. However, on Heroic difficulty, a universal armor token named the Essence of the Forlorn drops from Al’Akir which you can trade for Tier 11 Chest and Hands pieces unique for your class (among other pieces, of course; there are five total but we mentioned only those slots that aren’t present in the raid at all).
