Some items and abilities have been banned from Timewalking and Mage Tower because they are to powerful. You cannot use
any Covenant Abilities, Soulbinds and Conduits inside the mage tower. All Shadowlands Legendary Gear and Shards of Domination effects were disabled. Azerite Gear and Traits, Azerite Essences from BFA doesn’t work. You can also forget about Legion expansion Legendary effects as well as WoD Ring effects, and MoP Legendary Meta Gem effects. All Tier Set Bonuses were disabled too.
