What are Alizabal’s abilities in a nutshell?
Here’s the list of all Alizabal abilities (it’s quite short as she only has three):
- Skewer — expect Alizabal to damage and stun her current target (it better be a tank…) for 8 seconds. The damage is dealt every 2 seconds and increases the damage taken by a target by 150%;
- Seething Hate — group up around the affected player since this ability splits up its massive damage within 6 yards of the targeted character;
- Blade Dance — at some point during the boss fight, Alizabal starts her Blade Dancer that deals a lot of damage every second to each player within 13 yards and deflects all the attacks aimed at Alizabal.
Are the other two Baradin Hold bosses relevant to me?
The two other bosses inhabiting Baradin Hold — Argaloth and Occu’thar — are not quite relevant for you at this point. You see, unlike other Cataclysm Classic Raids like the Bastion of Twilight raid (or any other World of Warcraft raid, actually), Baradin Hold is the instance that saw each boss being added to it with a certain game update. Argaloth was here from the beginning, while Occu’thar was added in the Rage of the Firelands update — the second in the Cataclysm expansion. The two of those previous bosses boast gear of lover item level than Alizabal does, so there’s not much need to kill them.
